Nice campsite! Clean toilet. Great view but very windy.

Great little spot. Plenty of spaces. Decent toilets (although no soap, so make sure to have hand sanitizer). Good location for Napier and Hastings

1 person / night unpowered site = 15$ Way better than most DOC campsites at same price .... Drop toilets, well mantained. Fresh dinkable water. Sink to wash dishes. Covered roof library with 2 sofas. Nice woman responsible for the campsite. Can show up / check in late & pay next morning ;))) Thanks 4 hosting. Safe Female solo Traveller.

Quiet, beautiful scenery, river to swim in, rope swing hanging from trees for the kids..

Some reasonably flat parks near the water, nice view of the harbour. Toilets were in good condition. Only real problem with it is the 24 hour use of the boat ramp. Generally, someone was loading or unloading their boat at least every hour all night. The ones coming back from a night fish with a box of codies in them were particularly inconsiderate leaving their ute idling for 20 mins next to the campers whilst they cleared the trash out of the boat and loudly boasted about how they were going to spend all day filleting the fish they caught. The spot might be better for a rainy or windy day, so less people are using the boat ramp all night!

Beautiful campsite, perfect for people that love fishing, very social, nice swimming pool, clean kitchen/toilets/showers and super friendly owners

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this site. The camping area if far away from the toilets, which are often unclean. There aren't enough toilets or showers to accommodate the number of campervans on site. The non-electric camping area is also very uneven, making it difficult to get your van level. On top of that, the washing machines don't work, which is frustrating when staying for a longer period. Another major issue is the lack of a safe crossing over the road to access the beach. Overall, there are several basic facilities and safety issues that really let this site down. It's a shame, as the location has potential, but the facilities and overall experience need significant improvement.

Eerste ervaring met Top 10 vakantiepark en die was positief. Prima sanitair en mooi plekken voor de camper. Locatie in mooie natuur.

Super Campingplatz, sehr freundliche Besitzer, sehr sehr saubere Anlagen und tolle heisse duschen und gute Musik.

Helaas hadden wij overlast van mensen die snachts het strand op gingen, om daar te gaan hangen. Op de plek zelf ligt overal afval en het ergste was nog dat we om 23.00 uur wakker werden van een enorme knal!! Vuurwerk/glas?! De overbuurvrouw had uiteindelijk een flinke deuk en schade aan haar camperbusje… Nog even en we hadden de politie gebeld. Dus nee, vage plek ga hier niet staan!

Nice and calm spot with enough space, non flush toilets, beautiful surroundings, ok for non seld cointained and 2wd cars, no signal.

Nice spot for overnight stay on your journey. Enough space for everybody. We enjoyed amazing sunset and night sky. There is nom flush toilet, picnic table, bbq, but you need your own wood.
