Sealed road all the way there. There is a drop toilet. A few trees to stand under for shade. Unfortunately could find the platypus. Normal phone reception

Lovely quiet area, right by the river. Saw platypus in the evening and morning. Plenty of birds. Drop toilet. Short drive off the highway and well worth it

12-06-2024 مكان سلمي جيد حوالي 1 كيلومترا من الطريق السريع، منطقة مفتوحة مستوحاة والمناطق الخلفية. الكثير من Platypus في المنطقة التي يمكن رؤيتها من الجسر المجاورة، ونحن نلاحظ 7 في مجموع. المدينة الصغيرة هادئة جدا ونشعر بالراحة، حتى أننا الوحيدة هناك. يستحق المشي إلى المدينة لعرض المباني القديمة، فندق الفنون والبحر الأحمر.

Nice spot. Quiet in scenic area. Nearby river has plenty of platypuses, saw many in the morning. Even saw a snake like head in the river, might have been a broad-shelled snake-necked turtle or a snake. Crimson and Western rosellas around in the morning as well

Great location, very quiet town with no shops so bring everything you need. Quiet spot with plenty of room. Picnic tables if needed. Long drop toilet that’s clean. Great drive in from Kentucky.

Highly recommend this stop! It's off the highway so it's nice and quiet and you can hear the birds chirping in the morning. We parked before the bridge near the picnic tables. Woke up early in the morning (around 6/7am) and saw quite a few platypuses/platypii in the river!

Stayed here last night. Should have driven over the bridge and stayed at the Arts Hall. Woke up to -1 deg. Quiet and toilet ok. Water at the Arts Hall tho.

Great spot to stop. Clean tables and toilet, long drop. River is dry . Nice quiet spot.

Great stop, was very empty. Gets below zero overnight in Winter so be warned. Toilet and tables were clean. THERE ARE PLATYPUS IN RIVER. All you have to do is look for a little in am if you want to see one close.
