Gunlom and koolpin gorge is still closed

Walk to upper pool closed. And a freshwater crocodile has been seen recently in the main pool. Swim at your own risk. No one in water when we were there...

We try to go there with our van but was to hard.. After this road our van was almost broke... So don't try with your van! 4wd only!

Amazing for swimming!!!

Tried to make it in our 2wd hi top van, I think it was 20km of corrugated Road (imagine corrugated cardboard), we did a little but decided it would take us far too long going slow enough to not destroy the van. I would say 4wd is not necessary, but good suspension is! A heavy campervan is not a good idea. I read somewhere someone let their tires down a bit to make it more rideable but we wouldn't have been able to reinflate them! Tim & Han ??

4wd only, hard track to walk to the upper pools but they are building stairs atm

Gutted about this one, one of the spots we were most looking forward to. Map says 2wd accessible on unsealed road. If your not 4wd don’t bother, it’s so rough.

4WD
