It states on the Isaac council website that there is a fee of $15, they are not actively enforcing this ATM but they will. They are investing in the place as they have put in a dump point. Another council making money off caravaners.

Nice spot looking out over the lake and being able to wake up to cows beside the van made you feel like you were right in the middle of nowhere. Toilets very clean, showed cold only but that’s no real issue. Was even able to have a camp fire with so roasting of marshmallows. Very limited phone signal and no amenities. Plea y space for water sports.

Very nice free spot right next to the lake. The amenities are great (4 cold showers & 4 toilets). Very peaceful, lots of birds and cows around. A bit of noise of the road. A little Telstra network. Can’t get better for a free spot!

Great spot, enough room for loads of people. During this time the lake is very juicy and filled up with water (jealous much, other commenters) bathrooms and showers are clean, water insanely cold. Only downside is after dark a lot of mosquitos but hey, what do you expect next to a big ahhh lake

Really great spot, very quiet with just occasional car or truck passing on the road. Loads of space and clean facilities.

No lake anymore, its all dried up. More like a mozzie weed puddle. Very sad to see

Amazing little spot so glad we stumbled across it. Not a huge amount of water in the dam and it’s closed for swimming and fishing due to blue green algae. Perfect for camping/camper van/swag/caravan. So peaceful and quiet with nice new clean toilets and cold water showers. Grass was a little high so may want to watch for snakes but over all I’d rate this as a 5 star free camp spot.
