Second night (tonight) we were the only ones in the gravel lot and about 10:30 some guy pulls up visibly intoxicated blasting music, walking around our van, let’s out a giant dog, and rearranging his car three times into the middle of the lot making it difficult to even leave when we made the decision to get the he ll out of there

Really good spot for a night. Toilets, water (no drinking water), plenty of space, quiet, playground Felt very safe (female, solo)!

A great, safe alternative to Napier, and only 15 minutes away. Toilets are cleaned almost daily. There are two parking areas; it's better to park on the grass than in the playground. Very peaceful, with less traffic at night.

Excellent facilities. Nice and clean. No drinking water. Toilets lit at night time but only with central light zone so dull in the cubicles. Enough light to see by. Quiet at night time. Close to shops and pub.
