Great spot to see sealions. The parking is close to the viewingpoint.

Amazing place!

Not so crowded, we were there alone. Large parking lot. Really a lot of seals. If you are coming from Dunedin, the turnoff from the highway is not really signposted in time, so turn on the GPS.

I highly recommend going there! We could see at least 50-60 fur seals doing the walk next to the left carpark and approx. 20 fur seals on the other walk to the right. What a great experience.

Incredibly impressive atmosphere. I didn't see a single penguin (8am - 10am), but the sea lions alone were worth spending 2 hours there and watching. Since there were so many, there was always something going on. At some point it got cold. Couldn't go to the end because there were sea lions all over the grass and I could not have kept the distance of 10m. Donate to this great place.
