Flat grassy sites by a beautiful river. There are some picnic tables but not at every site and sites aren’t marked out. The Visitor Center is right across the street and you can walk to the model dam. Many people swimming and enjoying the river right next to the campground, which you can hear flowing but can’t see because there are trees between it and river. The pit toilet was fine and the toilets by the Visitor Center were open during the day. Peaceful and pleasant DOC site! Good Spark signal.

حديقة جميلة جدا بالقرب من الشاطئ على شاطئ نهر ضوء صغير بالقرب من الشاطئ في الليل حتى يمكنك رؤية النجوم بشكل جيد في المساء، ولكن عليك فقط أن تأخذ 4G شبكة الإنترنت لـ One NZ و Spark (ولكن ضئيل قليلا)

مكان رائع للاستمتاع. بالقرب من النهر. الملابس الزائدة طويلة ولكن مباني أساسية مثالية. الكثير من طاولة الترفيه حول استخدام. يوصي بشدة. الذهاب إلى مركز الزوار لتقديم الدفع الذي هو فقط على الطريق. سهل الترفيه.

I was here 29 Nov 2022 and it was shut, the gate was locked. Looked like a nice spot though!

Loved it. Beautiful spot. If you walk over to the visitor center you have some very decent toilets as well

Nice spot at the river. Long drop clean, but smelly because noob campers kept shutting the door. Ground already getting too wet.

A great spot to get away from home. Currently well maintained with recycling for rubbish, and toilets.
