18$ a person for this campsite is nothing! Really nice spot with a swimming pool, tenniscourt (you can borrow rackets) and super clean facilities. Dave is actually a really nice guy and helped us out a lot(!!) when our car got a flat tire nearby.

Nice location near waitomo caves. Some sites are on a slope. The kitchen and dining area is right in front of the reception, which is a little stressful for us as it feels like someone is watching us whenever we cook and eat. Kitchen is fully equipped with pans and utensils.

Absolutely my favorite campground in NZ so far. Extremely friendly staff, lots of nice animals. The kitchen is super well equipped and very clean. A nice extra in summer is the salt water pool. I really loved the exchange library to get new books during my travels :) If you are visiting Waitomo Caves I would highly recommend staying there as it is also right across the street from the Blackwater Rafting Compay.

18 dollars per person for unpowered site. Clean facilities. Close to the Waitomo caves. Possibly one of the best kitchens we have used whilst on our road trip. They literally have everything. Free WiFi and hot showers! Have seen the previous comments about the rude guy on reception and we can say if you stay out of his way you are fine. Just avoid contact lol. We really enjoyed our stay here otherwise!!

This is the best campsite we have been to in four weeks. The quiet atmosphere is contagious. And it is not even expensive!

Very nice place to stay!

I recommend everyone to stay here. If you want to be surrounded by nature and animals, and they're also super friendly. The kitchen is fully equipped, you don't need anything. The living room is very cozy.
