So calm, beutiful spot. Play ground and guge park River right there I parked in car park first night as grass area. Closed. Second night stayed in small gravel area of the road and starf of the park. The car park has lots of. Treea. So. No. Good for solay

We stopped at this beautiful little park on the way to Te Anau from Wanaka, booked it last minute and arrived at about 4:00pm. Showers are hot, toilets are clean, dump station and rubbish bins provided, and a great price all in all. The owner was so lovely (I didn’t get her name sorry), and even let us meet her Labrador, Charlotte (she acts scary but she’s a baby). They also have Alpacas, Chooks, Peahens, Peacocks, Sheep and Cows that you can feed and pat!!!

Visited on 17/10/26. Cute little campsite with relatively clean toilets. It was a bit sad someone defaced one of the toiletblocks with black spray paint while we were there. Otherwise nice and quiet, with a park section to have some food and a stroll

Second time we've stayed here. Good pitch with power and easy to access taps and dump station. Laundry was good and normal price. They have a family bathroom with baby bath available which for us with 2 young kids was really good. The main bathrooms were very clean and warm with hot powerful showers. Hair dryers available. Staff very friendly, would definitely recommend.

Excellent freedom camping spot here. Lots of spaces, clean toilets and facilities for rubbish. Right next to a great park for our kids. 2nd time we've stopped here and a nice welcome change having come from Queenstown where freedom camping is made difficult!

Mucho espacio y buena vista

Emplacement trouvé facilement de nuit. Vaste terrain en gravier. Bruit de la route, peu de passage la nuit. Plus le matin.

Vi ankom om aftenen efter receptionen havde lukket, men efter vi ringede på klokken kom der en med det samme og lukkede os ind og fandt en plads til os. Virkelig gode toiletter og bad, og køkkenfaciliteterne var også i top!

Skøn campingplads! Dejlig pool tilgængelig og generelt nogle gode faciliteter!

Pladserne bliver hurtigt taget, så kom i god tid! Men ellers et virkelig hyggeligt sted, med fine toiletter tilgængelige. Vi overnattede i 2 nætter, og det er perfekt hvis man skal med færgen.

Kæmpe anbefaling at tage hertil! Så smuk udsigt og virkelig flot gåtur!! Fine toiletter tilgængelige.

Virkelig hyggeligt sted. Vi overnattede en enkelt nat, og var blandt andet nede ved søen og se solnedgangen, sååå smuk udsigt. Der er toiletter tilgængelige men vær obs på at have sit eget toiletpapir med, da der ihverfald ikke var noget imens vi var der.

Fint sted med fine toiletter og håndvask.

The price is good. I booked an unpowered site for $20 a night. The staff is friendly; the shower room and toilet are clean.

Plenty of space and easy to identify. Parking next to the street, so expect some noise. There is a public toilet and It was open at night.

Nice out of the way spot to have a quiet night. There are actually two different Freedom camping spots here though. The pin takes you to the one next to the tennis courts with the bathrooms. There are limited parking spaces here and super bright lights at night. The pictures are showing the other location that is back down the road a bit. This other location is in the trees and much more dark at night. I would recommend using the bathrooms at the tennis courts, but sleeping at the other spot since others have mentioned loud tennis players in the morning.
