Nicely located place near a lake and a beautiful beach. Lots of kangaroos. Place size very good and level footprint. Unfortunately overall but very neglected. Common area only partially usable, bins overflowing and not emptied, toilets smelly and full of cobwebs and hot showers and sinks very dirty. It's a shame because otherwise it's highly recommended.
Love it here ! We stayed for Christmas and it was just so lovely. Fire pits on your camp (a few don't have them so check before you book). Hot showers.. Weren't the cleanest but decent. Lake just by camp and about a 20 minute walk to the beach. We saw dolphins surfing the waves on Christmas Day. Would definitely go back. BRING YOUR OWN DRINKING WATER
Unbelievable spot! We loved it there; it's a very spacious campground, free hot showers and very close to a beautiful lake and beach. We saw many goannas and kangaroos as well.
Enjoyed our stay here. We thought the facilities were great and very clean when we were there (although we did notice that there were only a handful of others around during our stay so that may have helped!) Drop toilets but with hot showers for additional payment
The showers work 3min, 2min break. You have to plan to be first in line so the water does not run out. My hubby got a huntsman spider on his hand during pulling out the toilet paper. Lot's of spiders and spider webs in the toilets. Dumpsters are available, and pretty large camper spots. You must vacate the camping ground at 10am next day. Also, the fees are paid separately. Half dirt roads, half concrete.
I was there on 27th of December with my family and we really enjoyed our stay there. Toilets, lakes, beach I will go again.
Stayed 1 night with a campervan : 24.60$ online + 8$ national park fee in cash. Gravel road to reach camp site. Quiet and nice campground but too "wild" for us : * dump toilets * showers with too much spiders for us But we saw kangaroos and wallabies :)
Spent 3 nights there, close to Wallagoot Lake and not far from ocean, so good for canoeing, standup boarding and fishing. Hot showers for 4 minutes (free), dump toilets, good size camp sites, no power and centralised bore water so bring your own, really lovely place tranquil and lots of tree coverage. Lots of kangaroos, wallaby’s, possums (keep your food secure) and the odd snake in summer
Was really looking forward to a hot shower.. But no hot water.. Otherwise pretty cool location
Really nice place to stay , big campsites lots of wildlife , toilets and showers are clean , they say to book and campground full but it's worth asking the ranger as it seems there are spare spots .... Lake really warm and great for children ...
