We stayed here as Alice Springs announced its Covid Lockdown and watched as a community of 40 other vans formed in a matter of hours, occupying both bitumen & red dirt areas. People were very friendly with each other as groups mingled throughout the evening. The satellite phone that this site offers was put to good use by everyone. A memorable part of our time away.

Great drive through rest stop. We were able to drive our motorhome whilst towing our small car and park on level bitumen without unhitching. Plenty of room on bitumen and plenty of room in red dirt and gravel areas. Fire pits provided, plenty of bins sheltered picnic tables and toilets. Travellers have left this rest stop very clean and tidy.

Enjoyed this spot. Stayed on the level bitumen in our caravan, or can also park on the dirt, plenty of room. Toilets were great to start until someone used it overnight & didn’t clean up their mess. Plenty of empty rubbish bins around. Has a satellite assist ph booster, follow instructions on how to use to make a ph call. Beautiful sunset & sunrise. Is close to the Highway but slept well anyway. Would recommend

Stayed here overnight. Lovely sunset. Close to road so a bit of traffic noise with road trains at night. Can park on gravel or asphalt. Nice and level. Plenty of bins. Didn’t use toilets so can’t comment on them.

Toilet is so dirty, any shadow and the cows are so annoying all night.

Nice spot suitable for any vehicle. Toilets are clean enough for dry toilets,lots of bins, fire pits and also a fire wood storage.( was empty when we were there). Very nice spot as well for a pic nic (Few tables and a water tank).K?

Flies are annoying but it is the outback! Good campsite with lots of rubbish bins and toilets

Nice rest area perfect for a stop over. Possible to park on sealed or unsealed road. Didn't use the toilets or rainwater so can't say much about the state of them.
