Great camping site near the sea. The view waking up is very nice. The place is very quiet and calm. There is a drop toilet which was clean. The beach is very nice and quiet. Highly recommend staying here. You need a permit to stay here.
DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE A CAMPERVAN We have 2WD campervan and drove in to the site and immediately noticed the path is heavily sanded. The sites near the entrance are grassy but these were all taken so we tried to turn back but got stuck in the sand and needed towed out. Two English men helped us dig the tyre out and another Australian man eventually towed us out. All 3 guys noted that they had also gotten stuck within the past day or 2 in the same site!
Nice quiet place to stay. Right next to the sea, within 60 sec walk. The time I went there I had no problems with bugs, toilets are average. Phone signal is pretty low.
Krásné místo, ale jak všichni zmiňují, že chyby jsou strašné v noci, nedávají prd, kolik aerogard máte na.
Byli jsme rezervováni na SS Dorrigo, pečlivě věnovat pozornost na místo, které je přístupné bez 4x4, a bohužel při příjezdu jsme byli velmi překvapeni pískem, který znemožňuje přístup. Měli jsme Toyota CamperVan, ale nebylo možné jít dále než vstup. V důsledku toho jsme zaplatili za 2 noci, ale strávili pouze jednu, parkování na jediném dostupném místu trávy. Pokud nemáte 4WD, pokračujte a jděte na hřiště dále podél poloostrova.
Místo je úžasné, a skvělé, i když spousta komárů a klíšťat. Toalety jsou v pořádku, ale loni jsem šel a spousta lidí dostala gastro.

Very nice and huge campground, so close to the beach with view on Fraser Island. Careful, a lot of people did get sick with the gastro by using the toilets the last past months
Lovely quiet spot, we camped at SS Dorrigo behind dunes, campsites near the point are just off the beach with views, lots of space even on school holidays. BYO water, bad midges dawn and dusk- bring repellent, clean but smelly drop toilet.
It was all close when we arrive
