Only the 4 or 5 yellow marked slots are for freedom camping. Sleeping at another spot was leading to a 400 NZ$ fine. By ranger at night. Nice experience for our 1st night in NZ

Good place and great view. Just watch out, only the slots on the right side are for self contained. Ranger been there at 10 pm.

Felt very lucky to sneak in a night here before it closed off for the season. Facilities are great, beautiful outlook to the beach. Very safe. 5 standard car parks available.

Great freedom camping. Showers, toilets, changing rooms and water station including bottle filling between the toilet house and the beach

Really nice place to stay, outdoor showers (cold water), clean toilets (compared to some free camps). If there is place absolutely worth to stay overnight.

If space is available, cool place with restrooms, cold shower and water station.

Very nice place, nicer than the other freecamp next to the surf camp. 4 pitches, 2 cold showers, toilets and drinking water point. Next to a children's playground, but it's really not a problem. Please note that the freecamp is not allowed between mid-December and February.

Pěkné místo. Dvě venkovní sprchy a toalety na místě. Vedle beqch a hřiště.

Zůstali jsme zde na dvě noci. Obě noci tam byly prázdná místa. Toalety nebyly tak čisté a nádobí bylo plné (pravděpodobně proto, že to bylo o víkendu). Obě noci ranger přišel zkontrolovat dodávky a vzal fotky desek, ale nic jiného. Parkovací místa jsou vedle některých dětských hřiště, takže jsme měli hluk docela brzy. Kromě toho je dobré místo k pobytu. Docela bezpečné a přímo před pláží. Má také stoly a bbq.

Pěkné umístění přímo na pláži. 5 míst, ale tam bylo jen 4 (měl jsem poslední), protože velké kempy zabírají příliš mnoho místa. Žádný toaletní papír v koupelně a nebylo žádné světlo, takže toalety byly v noci strašidelné jako sólo žena, ale to je přesně tak, jak to jde, domnívám se.
