Trochu daleko od centra města. Koupelny jsou staré a rozpadající se (plátky umožňují ztrátu a velmi malé). Kuchyně je obnovena. Oblast kempu se necítí šetřit. Nedovolil bych dětem hrát venku na kempu po západu slunce. Kuchyně byla zavřena v 9:00 a otevřena v 7:00.

Campground is in a good spot where we could walk down the street to view the lake at sunset & get picked up for our dinner at the Mitai Māori Village. The bathrooms were in good shape & the showers had hot water and good pressure. I’m sure it’s even worse in the summer months, but being so close to the water, there was quite a few mosquitos. The kitchen space isn’t as big as some other paid sites, but still has basically anything you’d need.

Some good bits some not so good. Bad bits: Dump station still not operational, no date for reopening, no information given on the booking details/email etc. Still advertised on the Web site. Toilet block dated but good hot showers and nice and warm. Good bits. Good location for walking into town or to the gondola. Level pitches done with hedges between. On site hot pools are a great bonus and trump some the bad bits. Some of the staff were great some were clearly having a bad day!

If there is no other place to stay it’s fine for a night. But this place is just run down. Kitchen was supposed to open at 7am, but they didn’t open the doors until after 8 am. Not so nice if you want to have an early morning leave.

Much in need of renovation in most areas although the kitchen was functional. , Hot showers good but cubicles very poor. Renovation picture on wall but no date for completion. Hot tubs very hot but rather shoddy surroundings, don’t expect a spa experience. No water on our pitch, only electricity and the dump station out of action with no ETA. WiFi advertised as free but only free for first 300MB after that you pay per day. Quiet site from external noise with helpful staff on the plus side.

Je to v pořádku na jednu noc, ale ne více. Myslím, že je to docela drahé pro to, co dostanete. horké bazény, pravidelný malý bazén a malé hřiště. Sprchy jsou velmi malé a musíte být opatrní, jinak bude všechno mokré po. Není to opravdu čisté, ale na noc je to v pořádku. Pokud budete zůstat déle, doporučuji jiný Campingside.

Zaplatili jsme 177 dolarů za „pohled na oceán“. Nebyl to výhled na oceán – byli jsme čtyři řady zpět od vody s několika RV před námi. Kemp je extrémně přeplněný. RV, auta a rodiny jsou těsně zabaleny spolu s velmi malým prostorem mezi místy. Přišli jsme s naším dítětem doufat v relaxační den u bazénu, ale bylo to tak zaneprázdněné, že nebyly k dispozici ani sedadla. Za cenu, to se cítilo přeprodáno a špatně spravováno.

Přiměřená cena, pěší vzdálenost od centra Rotorura, bezplatné teplé lázně na místě a malý bazén. Termální oblast vzadu a horká pláž. Kuchyňská plocha dostatečná, vlastní hrnce a pánve potřebné.

Hot showers, good kitchen. Quiet and easy walk to town. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night.

Not a bad site at all it is dated but has everything you need. Geothermal activity on the site which is cool. Free hot showers. Free hot tubs. Free cooking area with plenty space. Overall nice camp site.
