HUGE camping area with smooth level grass. Can get boggy after heavy rain, but there is firm ground before the grassy area. We spent 2 lots of 3 nights here, and at the most there were 10 others staying. Don't forget to book online before you arrive, there is no phone signal.

Great field with sinks and toilets in the middle of nowhere.

Zavřeno na zimu! Vyzvednuto včera, rezervováno, nic na webových stránkách, poté, co se přes ten malý most a brány zamykání zamčené! Volal DOC, poté, co připojil Starlink jako žádný telefonní signál zde, udělali chybu umožňující rezervace, je to oficiálně zavřeno na zimu, (doporučeno NZMCA). Most! Oy vey! Jsme 14 metrů celkem, zvedl a to mi trvalo tři pokusy haha! Je to možné, ale když je otevřeno!! Velmi malá plocha se otočit, i když brány jsou zamčené, tak zkontrolujte nejdříve! TASMANTRAVELS

Je to velmi pěkné. Ale trochu matoucí. Na místě doc je vše v pořádku. Před kempem je znamení, že je zavřeno kvůli krádeži. Ale kromě toho vše ostatní se zdá být v pořádku. Neexistuje absolutně žádný signál. Rezervovali jsme předtím, než jsme se tam dostali. Je to všechno tráva, takže s těžkým během pneumatiky nebudou mít dobrou přilnavost.

One of the best camping places, I have had so far because it was so quiet and in the middle of nature. But there is no Internet or signal.

Freshly mown grass and overall the site is very well presented. Despite the size it’s a quiet spot with only a few campers on a Friday night. Not sure why as it’s a beautiful spot. Bit of a hidden gem.

Got there pretty late due to delayed ferry but managed to pull up to a massive site and pitch up our rooftop tent and had a very quiet sleep. Flush toilets and water you can boil. $20 for 2 cash only.

Really beautiful large site. Only 2 other campers there. Flush toilets and running water. Secluded and peaceful. Bird song by day, silent starry skies by night. Soft grass, no mud when we were there mid January.

What a great spot! As described by others… too big an area to get busy, sunny and shady options, nice amenities, beauty river, no prob with bugs. Most birdsong I’ve heard in upper SI.
