Nice campsite with view of mountains. There were definitely more vehicles than the advertised number of spaces (we had booked in advance but guess some people hadn’t). One long drop toilet and sink but not drinking water.

Spent a quiet night with warm temperatures and a few mosquitoes. One clean pit toilet, a sink with water tap (non potable) outside. Two picnic tables. 6 spots, have to book online only. Reception 4G weak. Well maintained, nature smells of honey, magpies singing and river flowing can be heard.

Ideal place for us to stop on our way down south after the state highway was closed. I’d recommend booking through the DOC website in advance as the signal is very weak once you get there - although we managed in the end. Long drop toilet was clean and didn’t smell too bad, despite what some of the other reviews said. We must have gone shortly after theyd be cleaned! Beautiful & quiet spot surrounded by nature. No noise at night :)

This is a DOC campsite that requires a reservation ($ or free with the annual pass). The access road also leads to the Turoa ski resort. There are 6 well-defined pitches so you're not stuck to the neighbors. Charming little quiet spot surrounded by trees and mountains, close to a short hike. Very decent dry toilets, a sink with a non-potable water tap

Skvělé, čisté místo, rád bych se vrátil! Zůstali jsme zde jednu noc, to bylo velmi tiché a spali jsme opravdu dobře.

Zůstal jednu noc. Neobjednala jsem si on-line před příjezdem, ale udělala to tady jednou. Naštěstí jeden prostor zůstal. Fabulous klidné místo. Toaleta byla trochu náročná, ale v pořádku. Viděl mnohem horší. Velký informační deska na stěnách (v malém tisku). Projděte se zpět k mostu na silnici a tam je krásná pěší stezka dolů podél řeky. Hvězdy báječné v noci.

Zůstal zde na jednu noc v kempu. Krásná malá oblast s přístupem k spoustě procházek. Žádná pitná voda a toaleta je vůně, ale dělá práci. Cítil bezpečně a velmi tiše, i když místo bylo plné (6 dodávky) ujistěte se, že rezervovat on-line nejprve.

Krásný, klidný kemp se nachází pod horou Ruapehu. Pouze 12 míst, takže je třeba zajistit, abyste si rezervovali on-line, i když jsme si rezervovali náš kempovací prostor ve stejný den bez problémů. Je to místo DOC, takže pokud máte kemp je zdarma zůstat. Základní vybavení s pouze toaletou na místě a piknikovými lavičkami k jídlu.
