Můj partner a já jsme se vydali na tuto stezku v 7:30. Trvalo nám tam asi 2 hodiny (zastavení na jiných pohledech na cestě a získání fotografií) a 1 hodinu, než jsme se vrátili. Trať byla na některých místech kluzká a mokrá, což je pro normálního člověka obtížné to dokončit, a také museli na polovinu vylézt na skály kvůli kluzkým skalám. První 2/3 stezky jsou buď skloněné stezky, schody nebo skály. Poslední 1/3 je v podstatě kozí stezka.

Not for the faint of heart. You need to be relatively fit or prepared to spend 3-4 hrs taking your time. It’s a beautiful track but steep in spots. The first part around the lake is mostly flat and then you get stairs and a gradual incline and then you get the goat track for 2/3s. Avoid doing it in the rain like I did as it’s treacherous. Beautiful views of Wanaka and surrounding mountains. I have an old map book from 2015 that says scenes from Rivendell were shot there but that’s unconfirmed.
