Only 4 spots so arrive early, we stayed one night late April and were the 3rd spot at around 4pm! All 4 full by 7pm. Quiet location, felt safe, police were around on the morning but no bother they seemed to be checking things were quiet? Robo toilet other end of the car park, open during daylight hours. Nice reserve and bike tracks nearby. Good view of Kapiti Island

Great place to stay, very calm and quiet during the night (even on a saturday night). Locals were friendly and had a chat. We had a stunning sunset and saw some beautiful birds. There was a clean toilet which even played music haha.

Pretty cool spot, decent toilets. Only problem, some local kids came up to us to tell us that at 8pm people would come and ask us for money to stay on the pitch. Of course it's false and it was meant to scare us, but we left because we didn't want to be bothered and disturbed during the evening.

Velmi čisté místo. dorazili jsme v 6pm a bylo prázdné. 4 místa pro volný Campersite. A toalety jsou u vchodu.

Trochu hrubý možná, ale po svobodném kempování po Novém Zélandu po dobu 8 týdnů, to bylo moje oblíbené místo! Zůstal jsem dvakrát - jednou na konci února a pak znovu začátkem dubna. v únoru jsem dorazil v 1pm a 4 místa byla plná v 5pm; v dubnu tam byly stále volné prostory celou noc. Je naprosto úžasné chodit kolem dívající se přes řeku, ústí a pak moře jen na druhé straně písečných dun. Západy slunce za ostrovem Kapiti jsou nereálné.

Jediná 4 místa jsou rychle obsazena. Dobrou a jistě lepší alternativou je Otaki Beach.

At 6 p.m. all places are full or overcrowded. We won't take the risk of a $400 fine.
