Best campsite so far. Hot showers with very strong water pressure. Everything is very clean. Large, well-equipped kitchen area with refrigerator, freezer, and oven.

Tři krásné kempy s výhledem na moře. Kuchyně je také skvělá. Majitel je velmi uspořádaný a půjčil nám pelety, abychom šli udělat naši díru v písku. On také poskytuje kajak. Samozřejmě naše nejlepší kemp na Severním ostrově.

Nice little campground. Owner lives on site. So no issues with noise. Feel safe and sound. Free spades for hot water beach.

Honestly, as a woman traveling alone, go for it without hesitation. Everything is clean, the people are friendly, and the view is incredible. If you ask, the owner will tell you exactly what time to go to the hot water beach and will even provide you with a shovel. It's a peaceful and amazing place!

This campsite is by far the best we've stayed at during our six-week New Zealand vacation. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. At $40 including electricity for a two-person campervan, the price is absolutely fair. There are free kayaks available for exploring the inlet. On our first evening, we were even treated to fresh smoked fish he had caught that day. The site is quiet and just a five-minute drive from Hot Water Beach, where free shovels are also provided. Highly recommended!

The owner was at a birthday party and the place was actually fully booked, but after a quick phone call, I was able to stay. The kitchen was superbly equipped, there was a lounge, and a toilet.

$20 per person, facing the sea. Toilets, hot showers, Wi-Fi and even a jacuzzi!! Kitchen with toaster, oven, microwave, kettle... The best paid campsite we've been to.

Absolutně jsme milovali toto místo. Hostitel a jeho společník byli tak přátelští a pohostinní. Chytili spoustu snapperů a sdíleli je se všemi. Čerstvé a kouřené 😋 Tábor byl prostorný, plochý a úhledně rozdělený s výhledem na břeh. Kawhia je nádherné malé městečko plné historie s malým muzeem a přístavem na břehu. Waitangi den v parku byl opravdu sladký se všemi místními obyvateli, kteří přišli na nějaké úžasné kai. 👌 ✨ Kawhia byl náš první tábor na naší cestě a rozhodně nejlepší.

Výhled je úžasný z většiny míst. Zařízení jsou rustikální Hooks chybí v toaletách, umyvadla stříkají vodu všude. Pouze schopni mokré jednu ruku najednou Banky přetékají, BBQ jsou špinavé, nepoužitelné. Kuchyně špinavá. Ne moc v Kawhia. Cítil se, jako bychom byli ve filmu Deliverance. Koupit potraviny předtím, než se tam dostanete. Vše zavřeno v pondělí. Majitel chodí kolem nabízet ppl ryby, které chytil, což je krásné a zdarma kajaky. Výhled je skvělý
