Nebyl zaplaven, když jsme zůstali na 10th / 11th Sep :) defo zkontrolovat i když

Povodně se vrátil hodně zaparkovat bez obav, ale zkontrolovat počasí před odjezdem jako místní řekli, že je náchylný k záplavám v silném dešti.

Toto místo bylo zaplaveno od 6. září 2026... takže pokračujte s opatrností, pokud prší neustále!

Very cute campground with a view on the mountains and the possibility to swim in the lake. 2 flushing toilets and a changing room (per women/men), cell service is okay and 10 spots to park. Arrive early as this spot is often taken by motorhomes of people who come here to fish :)

Allowed places are not so nice because only the first cars have a side view to the lake and there is not much space between the cars. A lot of space in the area where camping is prohibited. I moved to a different place.

Krásné místo u jezera s toaletami. Omezené místa FC, buďte upozorněni: pokud zaparkujete mimo určené prostory, Rangers / rada pravidelně kontroluje oblast a pokutovat vás $ 400. Být pryč od 6AM, aby se zabránilo rady, a ujistěte se, že opustit od 8AM, aby se zabránilo pokutu Přišli jsme pozdě na žádné prostory a probudil se v 6AM do rady přicházející kontrolovat oblast. Byl by nás mohl pokutovat, ale byl hezký a měli jsme štěstí, že nás pokutoval. Řekl nám, abychom odešli před 8AM. Dobré místo, ale buďte opatrní

Krásné místo s jezerem, ve kterém můžete plavat! Procházka po Mt Te Kinga je také skvělá zábava. Kempování po dobu 2 nocí. Přijeli jsme ve 2pm a dostali jsme poslední dostupné místo v den v týdnu. Pískovičky jsou zde naprosto smrtelné - kousají se všude, i když jsou plně zakryty a používají všechny druhy odpuzujících látek. Telefonní signál byl iffy, ale většinu času fungoval.

This is a very beautiful freedom campground which I can definitely recommend checking out. You have a beautiful view with the lake, the beach and the nature surrounding you. NOTE : You need to be there relatively early in the day, as the 10 Freedom campsites fill up very quickly. We were there at 2pm and there was only one spot left. And bring something to protect you from sandflies, as it is very humid here due to the nature and the lake, so there are lots of them.

Very beautiful place, got here on a rainy day, luckily there was a space as there is not that many of them. Got here around 13:00 with a lot of huge RVs on the spots. Had a great swim in the lake 🤙🏻. Toilets are pretty close and very clean with two bins for rubbish. Had a 2 lines of 4G, Spark is my provider and even VPN works fine here.
