Great spot to stop the beach is lovely with very friendly fantails but the sand flies are numerous

Lovely wild and windy beach to stop at, clean toilets and a cafe cart. Great real fruit ice creams. Very friendly lady, worth a stop.

Right on the street, so well suited for a short stop. We did not try out snack / café cars. Looking at the sea, we saw a lot of dolphins. Some sand flies, but no crowds.

No dolphins (apparently they go out when the weather is not sunny), but there were delicious crepes and original new Zealand fruit ice-creams sold by a very nice lady. Calm beach and good ocean view. Janinas

Waves were awesome, and the coffee was very good from the Bruce Bay Coffee Cart. The husband tortured me eating the crepes in front of me. Rotten bugger!
