Nice place, bit noisy with the road really close. But nothing wrong with this place. Didn’t see a free camp sign, but police drove by around 9 pm and didn’t say anything :)
Free Campsites•Hurunui
Do not recommend. Got woken up at 6am to the council staff mowing and using a blower around our vehicle, this went on for an hour. Throughout the night multiple cars came in honking. The lights were left on all night in the carpark. There is 5 free camping spots however 2 were taken up all night by Council cars, despite the rest of the carpark being empty.
Nezůstali jsme, ale můžete použít Penny Key / Kiwi Cash pro přístup ke sprchám / prádlu (bez sušičky). Sprcha byla v pořádku, docela ošklivá a v zoufalé potřebě čerstvého pláště barvy, ale jinak v pořádku. $3 za 5 minut. Pokud máte jednu z karet, nemusíte volat a získat kód, stačí klepnout dvakrát mimo dveře, abyste se dostali dovnitř (tato část nestojí nic)
Tak vzdálené a relaxační. může chodit dolů k řece, která je tak krásný dotek a být schopen následovat psa, který ví, kde chodit musí být vrcholem.
