Location is gorgeous, with very interesting mangrove areas near the campground to explore. Grassy sites with plenty of trees and birdlife. However I was a little disappointed by the price ($55 for powered) since to my understanding you also need to pay x2 days national park entry ($24) to stay overnight. For that price I found the open-air amenities a bit off-putting with bugs in abundance. Had mobile coverage. Road in from Sydney direction is very winding but mostly well maintained.

Absolut fantastisk sted, solnedgang strandudsigt og masser af dyreliv. Alt lidt ødelagt af stedet jeg bookede (69) en powered en - klart ikke arbejde, så jeg betalte for strømmen, men fik ingen og har ikke haft noget svar på mine e-mails om problemet heller! Gode brusere men indgang og udgang kode lidt af en mare som ikke altid syntes at arbejde og baren var ikke op længe nok til at komme tilbage i vanen og køre igennem. Mange mennesker syntes at have problemer med koden! Måske var der et strømproblem på stedet?

The special terrain of this place is perfect for enjoying the calm beach. Especially if you have children, it would be great to play with them in shallow sea water. Om os herum schwirrten viele Vögel. Leider waren wir nur einen Tag im Nationalpark. Hier kann man länger verweilen.

Dejligt

Rigtig dejlig campingplads, lige ved vandet. rene toiletter og varme brusere. Vi vil helt sikkert vende tilbage igen.

Great campground! Very spacious spots, good facilities with hot showers. The beach and the mangrove are close so it's a nice environment and convenient to explore the Royal National Park. You can choose your spot when you book online. Be careful to leave at the time of the check out, sometimes they close the doors and your code is expire if you leave late
