When I drove out to this place in Nov 25 I found gravel road fine in my 2wd van but couldnt enter campground as had a sloping rutted entry & sign stating 4wd only yet that was not on flyer for campsites I got from tourist office. Luckily I could turn around as tree down over road just after entry. I walked down in the rain to check out grounds: no campers & grass long but fast flowing river was impressive. I hope entry is improved & info centre told as it would be a relaxing place to stay.

Elskede denne campingplads. Smuk sted, flod hele vejen rundt, et dejligt sted for et dyppe eller en padle. Langsigtet snavsvej at komme ind, men meget muligt i en 2WD. Ingen telefonreception, masser af stedvalg med pejs. Elskede det her

Fantastisk godt holdt campingpladser masser af steder, så du kan camp væk fra andre, men vi havde alle steder til os selv. Signage siger 4wd adgang men det er en bølget vej hele vejen super let. Hvis du tager din tid på vejen så nemt tage en caravan hele vejen til slutningen.

Roads reopened again! Amazing spot

The road is closed, cause of the bushfires. Too bad.

Beautiful! We drove a 2WD that is high on it's wheels, so no problems for us while driving the gravel road. Not suitable for every car.. You camp next to the river, allowed to make a little campfire, the stars were so clear and at night we heard the dingo's howling. Real camping!

It’s a real nice place in the middle of nowhere. Take in mind that you have to cross a 14km gravel road what is not suitable for every car....
