The place is right by the sea and that’s cool. Lots of families on the beach staying until night. There were people blasting loud music all night. Lots of mosquitoes. Not worth the money — don’t come.

Quiet place Clean toilet with paper and soap, it's cleaned in the morning at 7 a.m.!

Jeg ville ikke anbefale dette til nogen. $ 17 om natten, og vi blev vækket ved 11:20pm af en fyr, der slog hans horn på os, og da vi kom ud, spurgte han, om vi ønskede at blive, fordi han låste porten. Selvfølgelig ønsker vi at blive her alle vores gardiner var lukket, og det er næsten midnat. Toiletterne er en kort gåtur væk, men de er kompost, men en Hær af fluer er der og de sværmer ud, når du åbner dækslet og lander på dig, når du sidder på toilettet.

Vi bookede stedet for en nat online. Toiletterne er 3min gåtur, ren. Der er ingen lys i løbet af natten. Omkring 9pm en ranger banket på vores vinduer og tjekkede reservationen. Så låste han dørene til arealet. Vi var der alene. Nice sted :)

A very nice quiet place, we were alone to enjoy this beautiful view of the sea.

Stayed here one night last night, were the only campers. So, so many cars though with happy dog walkers, was empty after 7pm. Gates are closed by security at 9pm apart from in winter. Toilets and water fountain some way away from carpark, didn’t use. We did the Jubilee Walk from here in the morning, was lovely. Good for a night! Good camp by the water. Gates close around 8pm. Quiet night

Cornwallis entrance is about 300m past the GPS location, camped at where the GPS said and was woken in the morning by the ranger. The actual spot looked amazing, at least we know for next time

What an awesome spot. The entrance is about 500m past the app location. We loved it here and patrol came around and checked before locking gate. Kiwis singing in bush through the night kept kids excited.

Gates were not locked at 9pm as said on gates. People doing donuts in the night. People being loud in the morning at 6am walking dogs. Again gate should have been locked until 7am. Not sure what we paid for when anyone was seemingly able to come and go at any time. Lovely spot but Council has a lot to answer for. ?
