Pretty good, more for adults than kids. Plenty to learn in the museum if you have time to read, some interesting artifacts. Films are more for the adults. 3D wasn’t bad at all.

Jeg kan ikke være enig med den foregående kommentar. Vi var der 2 dage, fordi billetten er 48h. De normale film er ikke af den bedste kvalitet, men stadig interessant. Vi så ikke 3D. Men planetariumsshowet er fantastisk. Vi så alle 3 og elskede det! For de regnfulde dage på Mount Cook virkelig en god samtale.

Have lived in New Zealand for more than a year and this museum was the biggest disappointment. It's only part of luxury hotel and it's not worth it for $ 20. They will show you a few short films (I will not talk about their quality), whose 3D is awful and poor. Even now, my eyes hurt.. And the self-appointed museum is nothing more than few papers and two vintage cars Definitely not worth it. If you want to know something about hiking just go to the i-site. They have a free museum and it's much more interesting one.
