Spent one night in a powered campsite. Passable. Only stayed due to minimal other options in Twizel. Sites are very close to each other. Kitchens and bathroom are incredibly cold and uninsulated, poorly lit. Only 2/3 womens showers working - lukewarm hot water with low pressure. Toilets clean. No interaction with staff - paid online and picked up the map with assigned campsite. The sign outside said no vancancies but don't believe it - check online.

Really good facilities, but person at the desk was really unfriendly and strange. Got there around 8pm having booked online roughly an hour before - they had left a phone number up to call for out of hours check in - dude who answered the phone seemed pissed off we had bothered him and was really blunt throughout check in. Weird vibes - if unhappy about this then simply don’t allow for after hours check ins. Weird vibes. Was not even that late lol

Overall it's okay but I don't think that 23$ non powered per person is reasonable price for what you get. Showers are good, hot and unlimited. But the kitchen is small and there are no pans, pots, plates - nothing, so that was a suprise. Only two sinks close to each other in the kitchen so you have to wait to do the dishes. WiFi was there but was not super good. Friendly and helpful staff tho :)

Decent but generally not very welcoming

A basic place for one night. The kitchen is small for the number of campers. The staff isn't very friendly; while I was taking a shower, someone knocked on the shower door to ask my name and location. Surprising and not very pleasant.

Wifi was breaking down per 5 minutes, it was annoying. Kitchen was a little bit small especially seats were not so enough but shower was very nice. Totally fine but wifi was really suck.

good place 40 min. from Mt Cook, quiet with good facilities. We used own Internet with good signal.

Very basic, just the bare minimum. Not enough facilities for the amount of people even though the camp was only half full. Had to que for the dishes (only one sink). No playground, no family shower. Still glad we stayed here instead of the other holiday park in Twizel which gave us the creeps when we arrived.

Nice kitchen, showers were sketchy. Check in very confusing. Very cold when we stayed. The kitchen had a rodent.

Good place, quiet, clean bathrooms, very good showers but unreliable Wifi what is annoying.
