Very pretty campsite and well maintained by DOC. Was almost empty when we stayed in May and very quiet. Some issue with midges but not too bad. We had idyllic site overlooking the river.

Beautiful campsite, nice nature and clean flush toilets. Sink with non potable water. Quiet, but you can hear the birds, sheep and roosters (especially in the morning). We did not see anyone from DOC to check bookings.

Smukt sted inkluderet i DOC passet. Clean flushing toiletter føltes luksuriøse i forhold til mange steder, vi har opholdt sig på, og overalt var stille og fredeligt. Nydelig flod i bunden, og picnic tabeller at lave mad og spise på. Lidt forvirrende at komme til, da vi ikke så et tegn, før vi kom på en lang grusvej, men du ender med at komme der. Kun ulempen var bugs, da vi ikke kunne tilbringe meget af aftenen udenfor, før vi blev swarmed.

Rigtig dejlig campingplads, med en dejlig flod (med et svømmeområde) fantastisk udsigt over bjergene og masser af plads.

Good spot, lot of space, probably a nice view (too much rain to be sure), fire spots, clean flushable toilets, non drinkable water, no phone reception. Too expensive for what it is : no cold shower, no shelter, no drinkable water... Feel fooled to pay the fee for this.

Beautiful campsite among green hills with lots of space and few people. Sites are on well-maintained grass fields. Along the campsite is a river that you can swim in and there are spots to make campfires.

Very nice campsite, heaps of space for everyone. Loved the birdsongs in the morning. Don’t forget the insect repellent!!

Second time here so it must be ok ? this time there was less travellers so beautiful and quiet. I would reccomend this place and i will return
