Site was good for parking wise BUT I found it unbelievable that you have to pay to use the showers and on top of that the showers and toliets are completely unisex this creates a massive opening for sexual assault. I personally did not feel safe sharing bathrooms and paying already $56 for a powered site then paying $5 extra for hot water. Didn’t use any of the other facilities such as the kitchen ect.

Lovely views of the beach and bay- worth booking Beach side pitch. Very clean toilets and showers. Showers need $1 coin and work well. Nice site with established shrubs on site, feels less barren than most sites. Pitches are very small so might feel crowded in peak season but lovely in March. We didn't use the cafe or kitchen. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small playground plus bouncing pillow and trampoline.

Lovely tidy park with great, clean facilities. We had a great pitch backing on to the beach with wonderful views. We had to leave earlier than planned, due to the severe weather warnings.

Faciliteterne er gamle og små, køkkenet, ingen plads til mere end 3 personer ad gangen. De opkræver for brusebadet, men jeg prøvede 2 og de arbejdede ikke på 7:30 og ingen er på stedet denne tid om morgenen. De anbefalede at bruge en unisex facilitet, men min kone ville ikke bruge dem, fordi de havde permanente campere på stedet og hun troede, at det var skræmmende.

Venligt personale, rimelige faciliteter. $50 for to personer til at campere for en nat. Dusjer koster ekstra. Vores telt site var meget lille og udsat med veje direkte bag og til højre for os, en fodgænger foran, og en anden telt inches til venstre.

Boede her i 2 nætter. ”På” stranden, men det er dækket af sorte klipper og drifttræ, og du rådes til ikke at svømme i vandet på strandene i Napier på grund af den stærke undergrund. Campingpladsen var stille, ren, overkommelig og rigelig. bruserne er $1/5 min. Vaskemaskinen/tørreren er $4/$2 henholdsvis.

Stort sted, men virkelig lille køkken og toilet. stranden er ikke smuk. for dyrt til lav kvalitet.

fantastisk sted at bo, har en dollar mønter klar, hvis du kommer i eftermiddag eller mens receptionen er åben for bruserne. vi ankom, mens de var åbne. nice og ren sted

We arrived just slightly after hours and didn’t realize we had to bring dollar coins- ONLY dollar coins- to make the showers work ($1/5min). There isn’t a change machine, so with the office being closed we had to beg an exchange for two off whoever happened to be in the kitchen at the time. Nobody else had realized this was the case either.The men’s showers only got lukewarm for the last two minutes, women’s lukewarm the whole time, otherwise cold. Otherwise facilities were relatively clean and orderly, site was pretty quiet. Washer was effective, dryer not so much ($4 for 30 mins, jeans were still quite damp at the end). Lots of birds- one of them decided to knock on our window for about 20 mins straight at 6am, and we woke up to bird poo all over everything. Nothing you can do about nature though.
