Kort vandretur på 10-15 minutter til vandfaldet og 10 minutter tilbage. vandfaldet var lidt skuffende, men det havde ikke regnet i lang tid.
Lovely short walk to the waterfall. About 40 minutes return. Park at the end of Laurence street and walk up the small gravel road
Good forest walk, it looks like untouched nature! Not easy as mentioned before but the views are great! Take the escarpment track as well, you will have amazing photos from there
It was a really nice and easy hike! The forrest and topview are beautiful. The waterfall is not really big, but nicely!
Really nice forest walk! Steep and slippery at some points but fairly straight forwards. The waterfall isn’t huge but whimsical. Recommended if your in the area
Super hike! A great view at the top, I loved this ride. I did not take the same path to go up and down, the one to go up was quite steep, maybe the other way is easier. About 3h with break at the top.
Cool and challenging. Be prapared for a steep and narrow track all the way up the stream. Quite rewarding at the top. Enjoy and take care
Very nice way .. To be recommended in hot weather, because you have a lot of shade. You should not underestimate the gradient. Was fun!
We did not find the waterfall to swim or relax but it was possible to do the walk as a Loop Track
Note for the Summit Track: You can also start at the end of Lawrence St. There begins a dirt road. You cross a small stream and pass a gate. At the end of the gravel road you will reach a green area, where the trail branches off to the left. You do not come to the waterfall via this path, but faster to the summit! On the first part you run mostly through the forest. At 500m the path meets another gravel road. Turn left to the summit, this piece is very steep. From here there are no more trees with shadows. Do not forget sunscreen and water. A total of 3-4 hours, but worth the effort. You have an incredible view of Havelock, the Pelorus Sound and even Mount Stokes, but no view to the south.
