Overnatninger er hverken tilladt eller forbudt her. Virkelig bare enden af en snavsvej. Vi følte os trygge ved at bo natten. Der var masser af Moskitos i august dog og folk fiskede på 4AM, men vi hørte dem ikke, vi så bare deres fyrværkeri.

Stranden er helt vanvittig, og det føles bogstaveligt talt som om du er i midten af ingensteds Der var et par lokale hængende rundt, og nogle mennesker bor her permanent, hvilket kan føles lidt skræmmende i starten - men alle blev hilst os og vi havde ingen problemer overhovedet!

The place is just an alcove road edge, with very little space. But the place is pretty beautiful. A caravan lives nearby. Little may be scary for a single person. No toilets or accommodation so to anticipate.

there is space for one van or two cars. Road there is muddy and there were some locals camping few meters away from the camping ground. however its quiet place and in the night u can see stars if the weather is good. There are no toilets.

*Waimamaku Beach. Seriøst... Et af de mest usædvanlige steder, vi nogensinde har boet! Solnedgangen på stranden var stor, og stjernerne om natten var utrolige.

Not the best place to stay but for adventurous guys a good place for a night. You have to leave the SH12 about 3km after Waimamaku to Waimamaku Beach. You have to drive a track across the fields to the end. There is a small place to park. The river and the parking area are smelling a bit and the fishermen who are there around are a bit strange but allright. I've you go 5km ahead on the highway there is a scenic lookout with a great and large carpark where we visit some other campers. Lovely place to stay for a night!
