Had a lovely warm welcome from the owner who was so so nice. Camping on well maintained grass with rubbish bins. Best price in the area. Recommend 100% if you’re in a self contained van!!

Had a good experience here. Andy was there at 9pm when I arrived, their check-in closes 10pm. He was very friendly and gave me some travel advice. Plenty of space, on a clear night the stars are incredible. My 2WD Mazda made it in and out after a steady drizzle all day and night, but stick to the gravel path if you're worried. $15NZ for self-contained isn't bad when every option in town is 4-5x that much. Public toilets a 7 minute drive away if necessary :P

Andy’s place was a great find. We arrived into town a bit late and needed a place to stay. Eventhough it was 9pm they were more than willing to accomodate. The young lady that checked us in was so friendly and kind and hospitable. It was dark when we pulled in so we didnt know what the campsite looked like, but we awoke to the most amazing green fields and trees. So serene and peaceful. Highly recommend this place!

We arrived at 9:30 p.m. Reception was still open. Payment with card is possible. We stayed for one night. Great look at the nightsky.

Andy gav os en varm velkomst og tilbød et dejligt, roligt sted væk fra vejen. Jorden var flad. Der var ingen toiletter, men der var skraldespande. Prisen var lavere end DOC's. Vi nød det virkelig for kun en nat. Der var ingen myg eller sandfly.

Et smukt, fredeligt sted beliggende i frodigt grønt. Vi havde en nedbrud, der forhindrede os i at besøge Milford Sound. Vores vært kørte os til mødestedet og tilbød at hente os. Mange tak og tak til Kevin for hans venlighed.

Stor lille campingplads, kun 7 minutters kørsel fra Te Anau. Meget plads til at parkere, fantastisk udsigt og super venlig ejer. Ingen faciliteter, så du behøver at være selvstændig. Vi ankom, da ejerne var ude, men skiltet sagde parkering og betale senere, alt meget afslappet! Jeg formåede også at arrangere en privat hack næste morgen på en dejlig hest, som havde nogle utrolige udsigt over Lake Te Anau. Isabella, min guide, var virkelig dejlig. Alt i alt, et fantastisk ophold!
