Havde et strålende ophold på Old Mac's. Vi dukkede op uden en reservation og nemt fik et kraftsted til en rimelig pris. Placeringen er fremragende og let at organisere transport til Water Taxi i Marahau. Alle medarbejdere var meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Køkken og faciliteter var gode, brusebad var varmt Vi boede natten efter fuldmånen og havde en fantastisk udsigt over det stiger ud fra bag bjergene. Vil helt sikkert anbefale dette og kun en kort gåtur fra starten / slutningen af Abel Tasman spor!

Stor oplevelse. Mødte Old MacDonald selv. Han viste os, hvordan man tænder varmeren i køkkenet. Front personale meget hjælpsomme med Abel Tasman planlægning og anbefalinger. varme brusere. ville vende tilbage uden tvivl.

Beautiful campground. Largest spot we’ve ever had, felt like having our own garden! Nice facilities, clean and spacious, laundry etc all good. Lady at the office was so helpful and kind getting us sorted after a late check in and an early start for kayaking the next day, I’m so grateful! Longer walk etc to centre but personally I think worth it.

This was one of our favourite campsites during our trip. It's a few minutes extra walking compared to the other two campsites, but much more tranquil. The campground is massive, and there was lots of space, and it's beautifully arranged, very lush and green. Facilities all good. The owners are also very friendly and kind hearted, making it a lovely base for us to explore Abel Tasman.

5 🌟 for sure. So good, we decided to stay for 3 days. Everything you need and more. They will even help you get a water taxi to the golden beaches. NOTE: Google Maps will lead you to the neighbouring and more expensive camp. Go to the end of the road and enter paradise

Rigtig rart, gode brusere. Stille. Nydelige store drevne steder ikke tæt på andre biler. Nem at gå til start af Tasman sti fra. God burger sted fedt tui 5 min væk. Pretty blomster og sjov gå til glødende orme. WiFi nåede ikke helt vores van.

Meget rart campingplads tæt på starten af Abel Tasman sporet. Spisefaciliteter er inden for gåafstand (Tip: Fat Tui). Pladserne er meget rummelige og faciliteter er rene. Meget gode vibrationer og et godt svømningssted i søen. Nogle sandfluer men ikke meget overhovedet.

What a charming, lovely and beautiful campground, and wonderful location next to entrance to Abel Tasman. Super calm and well maintained. The unpowered sites are next to the river where you can swim, and there’s lots of space! There are free hot showers, I found the water pressure to be amazing. And in general all facilities are available and clean. They might not be fancy (including not having an online booking system), but if you appreciate authenticity then this is definitely the spot.
