The spot itself is good. Nice view over the lake and a working toilet (without paper, bring your own). Unfortunately we were harassed by the kids with the water filled balloons as well. Thx for the warning. Still, wasn’t very nice. We decided to stay, they came twice as well with an hour pause in between. Not a very relaxing stay for us though the rest of the night was quiet.

Toilettet er fastgjort, og stedet er rart. Vandet havde en mærkelig smag (samme som på dumpstationen) og det var meget blæsende. Men omkring ni om aftenen blev en gruppe på omkring seks børn keder sig og begyndte at angribe med vandballoner og banke på bilen. Efter deres anden runde antikviteter besluttede jeg at flytte til Opunake Recreation Ground parkering i byens centrum, hvor det var stille.

The toilet is still under construction, so right now it's not a very comfortable place to spend the night.

The toilet was demolished on 23rd Feb 2026 and is currently being rebuilt.

A lovely, quiet spot right by the lake and not far from the beach. The toilet had no light, but it was clean and in good condition. The internet was also good. According to the sign, there are six pitches, not just three.

Chill place to stop next to a lake with duckies and so on. Houses about so you feel safe as. Walk down to the beach in 10 min. Rhe pub 5 min walk a great place to hang with locals. Super friendly. Get some!

Great place for NSC enjoyed my stay

Meget godt sted for frihed camping, rene toiletter og drikkevand.

Dejligt sted for NSC lige ved siden af søen. Flush toilet havde toiletrulle men ingen sæbe eller lys og der var en vandkilde også. Ikke langt til at gå til byen eller til stranden
