løbende biler hele natten og folk trækker lige ved siden af min bil, selvom hele parkeringspladsen var gratis. Jeg var helt alene som en solo-kvindelig rejsende og havde ingen telefonsignal. Jeg måtte skifte til en anden frihed campingplads ved 2 om natten, fordi en bil kørte multispile cirkler rundt om parkeringspladsen, stoppede i hver runde lige bag min bil og hånede.

Toilet Out of order No internet signal Nice beach but we didn’t sleep in this place

A constant stream of cars going back and forth all night, hiding behind a specific tree looking for something specific? You never know. It was really scary for a solo woman; I didn't sleep a wink, I was alone at the campsite. Especially since a car decided to park right next to me at 3 a.m., as if trying to force me out (there were no other cars and plenty of space). Anyway… avoid it.

Nice location, safe from the wind and quiet. 3 campervan seats and 1 for tents. Separated from small hills that leaves a very pleasant privacy during a quiet night by the sea. Toilets, tap and toilet papers on site. No telephone reception. Beautiful beach against the bottom!

Beautiful beach and cliffs at sunset. Level pitch and very quiet night. Great views of Mt Taranaki on the road in. Toilets good but as others have said, take a torch!

We pulled in at 4:30pm and saw 6 campervans. We didn’t want to break the rules so moved on. Beautiful site though.

Nice spot by the beach, didn’t feel spooky. There was no service, the toilets where clean but dark so take a head torch even in the day. The sign says 3 vehicles max, but there is space for a few more.

We travelled as a couple with a dog, in winter, maybe that made a difference... We were a bit spooked and unsure if going to this spot because of the previous reviews.. but we still tried it out and it has been fine with us. We arrived at 8pm, maybe 2 cars drove in&out around at 9/10pm, but nothing else "weird". Friendly walkers the next morning. No phone signal.

Smuk solnedgang på den sorte sandstrand, men nul telefonsignal. Toiletterne var åbne, da vi ankom, men de var låst ved 7:30pm og stadig ikke var åbne ved 8am den følgende morgen.. Det siger selv indeholdt på her, men der er en plet af græs med et tegn for ikke-selv indeholdt køretøjer, så vi trak op her i vores sovevogn og havde ingen problemer. stor sted, hvis du er på vej til Egmont den næste dag. Vi kom der omkring 5pm for vores sted og et par biler dukkede op, men måtte forlade som det var fuld
