Et virkelig cool sted at bo!! Vi parkerede op for 2 nætter lige på klippen og havde det hele for os selv. Du kan gå ned til stranden og tjekke hulerne, der er næste niveau! Meget venlige lokalbefolkningen og ganske fiskerfællesskabet, ride rundt på deres quad-cykler og trække i deres net. Det er vindigt, men det betyder ikke noget som placeringen erstatter vinden. Du kan have hunde her også. Vi nød vores ophold grundigt og ville helt sikkert vende tilbage 😊

Cave beach is destroyed by cyclone gabrielle. But beautiful little caves are accessable via long beach during low tide.

Cave Beach was absolutely unreal. Have lived in NZ 28 years and this is up there with a favorite for me, especially at sunset.

Wonderful place ! Surely one of our favorites on the North Island. Black sand beach with lots of cellars in the cliffs. Do not hesitate to walk along the beach to the east, it's the most beautiful! As a previous comment, another version of Cathedral Cove in much wilder and much less tourists. It's definitely worth it!

Very nice place to go for a walk on the beach. Black sand and cave dug by the sea !! nice and very few people. Possibility to sleep on the spot!
