Trapper hele vejen, og virkelig kedeligt terræn. Vi gjorde vandreturen på en regnfuld og skyet dag, vi kunne ikke engang se bjerget på Henry's point på grund af skyerne. Gør en anden vandretur, hvis det er på en skyet dag, så ikke værd det

Overnight parking is not allowed at the carpark! Beautiful views from the top, but 5km uphill only with stairs! Takes us 4h (up and down)..

Kvinden i besøgscentret anbefalede denne parkeringsplads til at blive natten over og starte sporet tidligt om morgenen (4:00), hvilket er nemt, fordi det er alle boardwalk / trin og godt vedligeholdt.

Stor vandretur herfra, alle board walk som kan være glidende og især iskold ud af træet linje så tage din tid.

Nice hike, 1h40 to get to the hut and 15 minutes more to reach the pond 1h25 to go down to the parking, the view is breathtaking! Never leave the wooden slats that form the same path 2 cm, I ducked twice in the mud to the ankle

A wonderful hike! Many steps, but with paths to walk absolutely feasible, even for beginners! A breathtaking view of Mount Taranaki. One of the best hikes so far on the North Island!

Two hours to get up stopping taking lots of pictures and breaks. Was clear all morning but by the time we got to the tarns the peak was clouded over. Over all it was a nice hike

We found a pair of glasses on the track today (7th of July). Left them at the start of the track on the "Kiwi Zone" sign.

The views at the top above the hut and at the tarn on a sunny winter’s day are so beautiful it’s just wonderful, and make the 3km of boardwalk steps worth it ?. Make sure you come early before the afternoon clouds roll in. It is quite a challenging track because of all the steps and constant two hour grind uphill but the gradient is mostly gradual. It took us (72 and 65) two hours to Pouakai Hut and another 20 minutes to the tarn. The new car park is great for parking a camper.
