Amazing beach it’s perfect to relax on all day long. Super social lots of people around. Get an ice cream from the local store and chill all Arvo.

We wanted to hire kayaks but didn't want a restrictive kayak tour of cathedral cove, found the Hahei general store hires kayaks & SUP boards for half day ($75 for single kayak/$115 for double kayak) nice guy to deal with. We had an absolutely amazing day on calm waters, kayaking to the cove takes 30 mins approx

Nice beach! Went here in winter on a good sunny day. The water looks amazing! Wish it was warm enough to swim and snorkel a little bit, guess I have to come back for that.

My favourite beach on Coromandel Peninsula!! Absolutely radiant with bright blue waters - and the town is adorable! I loved it so much i lost track of time and grabbed the last shuttle bus of the day for Cathedral Cove - which was beautiful - but not nearly as magical as the beach walk at sunset back to the car park. What a spectacular place! ??✨ enjoy, friends!

Good plan to park (do not come too late in the morning because there are people) to walk to Cathedrale Cove (an hour walk), because it's free. Nice beach by the way.

Beautiful beach, especially if you walk right to the end where the rope swing was. It was a super hot day and we still managed to find a whole section to ourselves - heavenly!

Very beautiful with little islands everywhere. Looks almost tropical with the white sandy beach. Toilet block with a place to rinse your feet after being in the sand. Also can start the Cathedral Cove walk here for a slightly longer hike and some more views.
