Great place, definitely recommended - not only for birders!

Dette var et af højdepunkterne på vores rejse! Vi lærte så meget om fuglene i NZ og bevaringsindsatsen, der gøres over hele verden.

Rigtig god! Vi gik for en dejlig gåtur til fuglen blinds og så wrybills flyve og andre strandfugle vandrer rundt. Personalet var super nice og informative og de lod os tage brusere her i bytte for en donation. De tilbyder også backpacker stil dorm indkvartering, $ 25 pp.

A bummer at the edge of the road with the noise of cars. 3 seagulls ,ducks and swallows with cows ........

Beware of the tides. When we were there it was low tide and we couldn't see any birds...

Nicely set up walk and bird hides - just ensure you go at high tide! The Centre further up the road has plenty of information and binoculars for hire.
