Var ikke oversvømmet, da vi boede på 10th / 11th Sep :) defo tjek dog

Oversvømmelse er gået tilbage masser at parkere uden bekymring, men ville tjekke vejret før du går som lokalbefolkningen sagde, at det er tilbøjelig til oversvømmelse i kraftig regn.

Dette sted blev oversvømmet den 6. september 2026 ... så fortsæt med forsigtighed, hvis det regner konstant!

Very cute campground with a view on the mountains and the possibility to swim in the lake. 2 flushing toilets and a changing room (per women/men), cell service is okay and 10 spots to park. Arrive early as this spot is often taken by motorhomes of people who come here to fish :)

Allowed places are not so nice because only the first cars have a side view to the lake and there is not much space between the cars. A lot of space in the area where camping is prohibited. I moved to a different place.

Dejligt sted ved søen med flush toiletter. Begrænset FC rum, være advaret: hvis du parkerer uden for de udpegede rum, rangers / råd rutinemæssigt tjekke området og vil bøde dig $ 400. Være væk ved 6AM for at undgå rådet, og sørg for at forlade ved 8AM for at undgå en bøde Vi ankom sent til ingen rum og vågnede ved 6AM til rådet ankommer for at tjekke området. Han kunne have bøder os, men han var rart og vi var heldige han ikke bøde os. Han fortalte os at forlade før 8AM. Godt sted, men være opmærksom

Smuk sted med en sø, som du kan svømme i! Gå op til Mt Te Kinga er også sjovt. Campet i 2 nætter. Vi ankom ved 2pm og fik det sidste tilgængelige sted på en ugedag. Sandfluer absolut dødelige her - bidt overalt på trods af at være fuldt dækket og ved hjælp af alle slags afskrækkende. Telefonens signal var iffy men arbejdede det meste af tiden.

This is a very beautiful freedom campground which I can definitely recommend checking out. You have a beautiful view with the lake, the beach and the nature surrounding you. NOTE : You need to be there relatively early in the day, as the 10 Freedom campsites fill up very quickly. We were there at 2pm and there was only one spot left. And bring something to protect you from sandflies, as it is very humid here due to the nature and the lake, so there are lots of them.

Very beautiful place, got here on a rainy day, luckily there was a space as there is not that many of them. Got here around 13:00 with a lot of huge RVs on the spots. Had a great swim in the lake 🤙🏻. Toilets are pretty close and very clean with two bins for rubbish. Had a 2 lines of 4G, Spark is my provider and even VPN works fine here.

Bequtiful! Please don't come with a car and your fucking trailer to block 2 spots
