Lejren er smuk på en solrig dag - floden passerer forbi, fantastisk udsigt over snefulde bjerge. Værd 11km kørsel fra hovedvejen, den sidste 1km af græsplænevej var ikke dårligt. ingen faciliteter, bare naturen omkring - vi lavede en lille brand ved hjælp af drifttræ.

Dejligt sted, men ingen toiletter.

Hvis du er fra USA og plejede at boondocking / spredt camping, dette sted er perfekt. Der var ingen toiletter eller skraldespande, men der var fred og ro og en dejlig flod. Vi gik her i løbet af dagen for at se stedet og tage et dyk i floden og beklagede ikke camping her.

Only self contained campers that are certified. No toilets also no signs with information. Don’t camp on the river as the water rises when raining

Two gravel areas by the river, at risk of flooding. It rained a lot while I was there yesterday and there was no issue but was warned by the nice woman who came to check the self contained sticker that the water could rush in very quickly. No amenities at site (no water, toilet, trash). River looked like it could be nice but not in rainy weather. Really good public toilets in Whataroa, 12 min drive away.

This is just a gravel parking space without toilets, bins or signs indicating that this is indeed a campsite.

Nice spot by the river and good view of mountains. No phone reception, bins or toilets. Toilets are 10 min drive in town. Plenty of space. Gravel drive but nothing awful.
