I’ve heard it’s amazing, but I believe you need to see it for yourself to truly appreciate it! I can’t think of a better way of doing it than with a camper mate van!
Darnell
Mataranaka thermal pools because I have hEDS and warm pools are a huge relief on my constantly tense muscles and pain

Ormiston Pound & Gorge Walk, because Melbourne’s weather owes me.
Martin
Thousands of glowing stems under a desert sky, with Uluru watching quietly in the background. It feels magical, surreal, and completely unforgettable.

My three boys are growing up in a world that moves at a million miles an hour. I'd love to take them somewhere that makes time stand still. Somewhere the Wi-Fi is forgotten, the stars are impossibly bright and the biggest excitement of the day is meeting a rescued kangaroo. At the Kangaroo Sanctuary, I want them to discover that Australia's greatest treasures aren't things you can buy, but wild places, extraordinary creatures and the stories we collect together. And if we return home with red dirt in our shoes? Even better.
Amy
I love kangaroos. So calm.
Theresa
I have never seen the Territory properly and the Top End in the quiet season sounds like just the ticket for a Queensland bloke who likes a long drive and a good sunset.
Daniel
would be refreshing and totally awesome
David
Ormiston Pound and Gorge. I’d like to stand in a landscape that looks like someone turned the saturation up too far, swim in water surrounded by enormous red walls, and keep an eye out for wildlife that has absolutely no idea I exist. Ideally, I’ll return home sunburnt, slightly feral and convinced that my entire life should involve more dramatic geological formations.
Bianca
I visited as a child in 1990 and it was the most memorable experience. I would to visit again with my own daughter, to present her with the experience.

I’d love to discover Kakadu’s Best Kept Season, when the Top End transforms into a spectacular playground of waterfalls, wildlife and endless green. I’d spend my days chasing waterfalls, exploring ancient rock art and soaking up the dramatic landscapes, then finish each day under a sky overflowing with stars. The Northern Territory’s seasons feel like nature has turned the volume all the way up. I’d love the chance to experience that wild, vibrant side of Australia at its best and return home with stories far more interesting than “what I did on my holidays.”

Field of Light at Uluru. I've seen the photos, but I can't picture what thousands of lights across the desert feel like in person. I'd want to walk through it just after dark, with the rock a shadow on the horizon and a sky full of stars overhead. Ending a week on the road through the Red Centre somewhere that quiet and that big sounds like the trip of a lifetime.
