Large area clean but toilets not very clean
Nice Palace to stay. Clean and not big. Toilets are oke. Trash cans are available.
We stayed 1 night, lots of space, accessible to all vehicles Quite a few flies A little traffic at night. Garbage cans are available and the toilets are clean
Very clean and spacious overnight rest stop. Lots of trees for shade, picnic tables, bins, and clean drop loos with sinks and soap. Never felt unsafe. Amazing sunrise.
It's a good place for a overnight stay. Toilet was clean but really stinky. When it's windy it's really dusty. Lots of flies and bins, so but your rubbish in the bins.
Really nice place! Tidy and clean! It has been the best and most clean toilets, we have been to in Australia. No flies at all and lots of shade!
Nice enough spot with shade from the desert oaks and other scrub. Some info boards about the area, cleanish toilets and a fire pit. Close to the highway though traffic was light and a short hop to Alice to start the day.
Large gravel rest area on the side of the highway. Some traffic noise during the day but not bad at night. Maximum stay 24hours. Plenty of Desert Oaks for shade. Suitable for all types tent/camper/caravan/etc. Sites are not marked or allocated so you can find an area which works for you. Two drop toilets. No light so take a torch if going at night. One was locked while we were there. Unfiltered water on tap. Rubbish bins. Sheltered picnic tables. BYO fire wood. Stick to the paths/ formed areas as we seen a few people get bogged in the sand. Some campers were woken up at 5.45am by a worker who reversed his truck into the site to rumage through the skip bins. We also seen a few people take a short walk up the sand dunes.
Good place to sleep with a few people so quite reassuring. For the 2WD do not go too far because it is sand and sinks easily. Clean toilets.
Large and Scenic campsite to accomodate vehicles of all sizes. Two clean long-drop toilets with water and soap. BBQ-grill (BYO firewood) and picnic tables with shade. Loved to stay for the night and felt very safe. Lots of grey nomad Campers.
