This “free camping” is not allowed: the station is monitored, sleeping on site can result in a fine, and the showers close at 7pm.

Wir hatten eine tolle Nacht an diesem Ort, in Kontakt mit den Tieren! Wir wurden nicht gebeten, irgendwelche Gebühren zu zahlen, um den Zugang zum Parkplatz oder die Duschen (die sehr sauber waren!) auch wenn wir offensichtlich eingeladen sind, um die Wirtschaft der Pub zu helfen.

Liebte es! So ein seltsamer Ort. Viele Tiere zu beobachten. Sie bekommen etwas im Pub, um kostenlos im Campingplatz zu bleiben. Der Besitzer des Pubs ist ein lustiger Kerl. Und er sammelt eine Menge Geld für Wohltätigkeitsarbeit, so dass ich froh war, seine Pub zu unterstützen. Die Cockatoos, wo ein wenig laut am Morgen, aber vielleicht ist es über die Saison idk.

We spent one night at the camp, the staff are adorable! It is easy to land and settle in. A small farm surrounds the camp with pigs, chickens, goats and parrots.

So ein großartiger Ort zu bleiben! Bauernhoftiere wandern um (‘Bunny’, ist so ein freundlicher kleiner Shetland Pony 😊) Es ist kostenlos, wenn Sie den Pub patronisieren, was kein Problem ist, da das Essen, die Atmosphäre, die Besitzer und die Einheimischen großartig sind.

The Darling Downs Hotel, Sandy Creek offers Large level grassed camping area with shade and full sun beside a wonderful Old Queensland Hotel offering fantastic meals cold drinks and free camping for those who patronise the Hotel. Friendly staff, excellent clean ammenities, the Hotel & Grounds are immaculate. Highly recommend for travellers to stop for a meal or an overnight stay.
