Wir haben diesen Ort so sehr geliebt, dass wir dort zweimal geblieben sind! Es gibt viel Platz, ein Toilettenblock mit fließendem Wasser und einen Picknickplatz mit Wasserbrunnen. Es gibt keine Duschen und nicht viel Telefonsignal. Offenbar gibt es Crocs im Fluss, aber wir haben keine gesehen (bewahren Sie auf!). Wir haben versucht, am Fluss zu fischen (leider kein Glück) und wir gingen zum Strand, um den Sonnenaufgang zu beobachten, der wunderbar war. Es ist am besten, online zu buchen, bevor Sie dort ankommen - ich denke, es ist frei, dort für 48 Stunden zu bleiben.

Stayed last night. Plenty of room. Felt safe. Water, toilets and play equipment for the kids. We did register with Council prior but there’s a QR code on board at entrance. No shops of any kind. Enjoy

It's really great that the town is so friendly and welcoming to campers. The site is very well-maintained and quiet, and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, there's no Telstra signal, but there are toilets and trash cans, plenty of picnic tables, and a BBQ. Be sure to reserve in advance.

Free but needs to be booked through Townsville council website. Flushing toilets, fires allowed, drinking water, playground, lots of covered seating, electric bbqs. It's a big space but very popular so still fairly full. Fishing from boat ramp next to camp site or head north along the beach to the gully. Crocs in area, very poor phone signal

We loved staying here! We stayed for two nights - you have to register with the Council however very limited reception on site so recommend doing before arrival :) no noise as its far off the highway big grassy area - might be more crowded on weekends

Großer freier Campingplatz! Sehr saubere Annehmlichkeiten, BBQs und Picknick-Tische. Sehr ruhig und viele Wildtiere wie Kängurus, Vögel und wenn glückliche Crocs. Ein wenig Telefonsignal je nach Standort (Telstra).

Es war schön sauber auch leicht zu bekommen. ein paar spät in der Nacht Ankunft.
