Eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung. Die Begrüßung war besonders unangenehm und kalt, mit einem echten Mangel an Höflichkeit und Respekt gegenüber den Kunden. Wir fühlten uns wirklich, als ob wir von dem Moment an eingedrungen waren. Es ist eine Schande, weil die Lage schön gewesen sein könnte, aber die Begrüßung hat unsere Erfahrung eindeutig ruiniert.
The owner and his do called manager speak yo guests in a very very in pleasant way. They do not care about who is around!!!! Within 5 minutes of us getting there Greg started running down other guests and other farmers!!!! Do that speaks volumes!!! Also make sure you pay via direct deposit as they have no clue about book keeping!! As this is the only way you will be able to prove how much you have paid and for how long!!!! As you will never get a receipt!!!! There are way better places!
Wenn Sie hier bleiben möchten, rufen Sie den Tag vorher an und kommen Sie nicht nach 5pm. Der Eigentümer hat seine Regeln und wird nicht abweichen. Die Lage sieht großartig aus und die Camping-Gäste hatten eine Gruppe zusammen mit Getränken und wenig Feuer.
Wir waren für zwei Nächte auf dem Platz auf Greg's Farm und fühlten uns absolut willkommen. Greg zeigte uns seine Farm mit unseren zwei Kindern mit seinem Fahrzeug. Wir konnten sehen, wie Zuckerrohr geerntet und geladen wird und er erzählte uns viel. Weil es sehr windig war, leider gab es kein Zuckerrohrfeuer. Greg gab uns Mango und gab uns viele wertvolle Informationen. Wasser und Strom und sogar die Möglichkeit, das schwarze Wasser zu entleeren. Wir empfehlen!
Wir verbrachten drei schöne Tage auf Gregs Farm. Was für ein Gastgeber!!!!! Er gab uns Bananen, gefrorene Mangoes, einen Kürbis und verkaufte uns Eier für $ 3 Dutzend.
Wir haben gerade die besten 4 Tage erlebt. Unser Gastgeber Greg Miller hat eine Fülle von lokalen Informationen über die Zuckerrohr und das Burdekin-Distrikt. Seine Touren durch die Kannefeuer wurden in einer so informativen und sicheren Art und Weise gemacht und alle waren begeistert.
We had a great stay with a very friendly welcome from the park manager couple! The kids could play with the two lovely farm dogs and they had some great toy vehicles there. In the morning they were allowed to go feeding with the farmer ducks and he took us on a jaunt with the buggy over the sugar cane fields. A great day!
STOP HERE ! Do not miss the chance to get a true adventure!! If you want to meet the hospitality and generosity the Australian people are known and loved for - this is the place!! Greg and his wonderful family invites you in for at great experience on their sugarcane farm. We were lucky to be invited for a tour on his farm driving with him in his blue buggy. Remember only self-contained vehicle can stay here. No toilets/showers and no bins - so remember to take your garbage with you again. But it's all worth the trouble. From June and 22 weeks ahead the harvesting begins. You will see how they are burning the sugarcanes before they harvest. 12,50 $ each vehicle for a power site. REMEMBER to call before arrival
Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful camping spot with power and water for $12.50. You must have a self contained caravan with your own toilet/ shower. The farmer and his wife were so lovely, showed us all around the cane farm, let us pick as many mangoes as we liked and gave us other fruit and eggs from their farm. Really special farm stay.
