Schöne Wasserfälle mit den größten Aussichten aller Zeiten. Liebte es. Lieblingswanderung unserer Reise bisher. 30 min nach unten, 40 min nach oben. Rock-Schritte sind ziemlich steil und mühsam, aber es lohnt sich! Haben auch ein schönes Schwimmen am Boden und in der Sonne mit einem herrlichen Blick auf den Wasserfall.

Fantastic waterfall, the largest in Australia. The view is superb and the hike to the bottom of the basin accessible in 40 minutes. The trail is well laid out, the climb in less than 40 minutes with our 3 children.

Leider ist die Straße beschädigt und für Reparaturen bis Freitag, den 29. Juni geschlossen.

We went there on a rainy day and it was still beautiful and impressive. The drive first, in the morning there are a lot of kangaroos along the road and of course lots of cows who just chill on the side of the road (drive safely). Then steep and curvy road for about 15km (not suitable for caravan or trailers apprently). And if you are lucky you can see some cassowaries (again drive safely) the lookout is just next to the car park. The gorge lookout is 300m from the carpark. And the walk is 2-3h but not easy.

The road up there is quite steep but doable with a van. The view is beautiful and there is a track you can walk down, take 2-3 hours to walk all the way down. Not suitable if ur not fit.
