Great spot on the river, if your lucky you might get a spot on the grass Excellent stop over

Nyah was a wonderful surprise. Easy access in our caravan to get right next to the river bank. Dog friendly and easy swimming access. Plenty of shade. The bird life was amazing to watch. Friendly magpies, kookaburras, kingfishers. Public toilets were clean and plenty of bins next to the dump station there near the oval. Definitely recommend heading out to Nyah West to the Grand Hotel there for dinner. Was over an hour wait for dinner but the locals are friendly and the beer was cold. Fascinating old pub.

Great overnighter spot by the river. Well maintained facilities, designated areas to park up, short distance to town, donation box at toilets to help fund this wonderful area set aside for RV’s.

Another amazing place to stay we are so lucky in Australia to have these places. Even on the last weekend of the school holidays still plenty of room.

A great place to stay with most amenities. Dump Point & Toilets. Large area around the oval & harness training track. Open areas & shaded trees. Parking under river gums is not the best thing to do as they have a habit of dropping a limb when not expected. (Be aware.) We stayed there in October for a fortnight. Walks along the river & up to the shops for a lovely meal with dine in or take away restaurant. Fishing & Boating.

Really nice place only complaint is people not following rules about dogs on leads , i travel with a dog and had another dog which was off lead come and attack my all dog which was tired up other than that had a wonderful experience and will go again

Lovely place with level spots amongst the trees and river. Dump point, fresh water available and two clean toilet blocks. Fires allowed. Please leave a donation to help the volunteers continue their excellent upkeep of this idyllic spot.
