Very natural campsite! A little more rustic than the Eco Retreat but with a lot of charm. The ☺️: - immersion in nature? - presence of dingoes?? on site (they are not aggressive. They can approach out of curiosity but never for long. They are fearful). - Clean toilets?? (no shower) - A dump station - Possible to throw the garbage in the trash cans at the campsite next door (ask at the campsite reception)?️ - Location?️ - Possible to access it without a 4x4 but by leaving the park via the main road (the path which cuts via the Eco Retreat is exclusively for 4WDs). ? We really liked this campsite for its location, its authenticity and the presence of dingoes? Be careful in the evening to take a flashlight? because there are snakes? and spiders?️ (their eyes glow in the night, they are on the ground near their holes). The French family???☺️
Only a bush toilet and sadly not clean.. You have to book online, great view to the stars and the only camp in the nationalpark.
Amazing spot in the National Park. Cheap campsite ($11 per person). The sites are very large and the facilities (only toilet) are clean. It’s located very close to the highlights of the park (Fern pool, Fortesque falls, Cicular Pool).
Dales gorge campground, Kirijini National park ?️ Very nice campsite ?️ in the middle of nature. You have to pay online or at the visitor center which closes at 4:00 p.m. ?. A ranger comes by in the evening and checks. We had not paid because there is no network and it was already late but indicated that it is possible to pay the next day. There are basic but clean toilets. A sumptuous sunset ?. Calm and a dingo ?. Watch out ⚠️ for the dingo and other snakes ?. Going to the toilet ? with a flashlight ? Pascale & Pascal ??
Very cool this week - 24 degrees at 11:00 - if you can't book, you can pay before or after at the Visitorcentre.
Just spent 3 amazing nights here. Stayed in kangaroo loop but could still hear the bloody generators- they should be banned from beautiful places like this. BW.
We were the only ones here last night, only a few flies were bothering us (also the ones that bite) and the moskitoes came out in the evening. It did cool down during the night, which was a relief. We also heard the dingos at night, but didn't see any. The toilet was as clean as a drop toilet can be, no smell. If you're here during summer check on Google Maps satellite view to pick a site that offers some shade. You need to book online before you get there. No reception there.
