A good place if you need a spot near Auckland or Piha. There are spots on less of a slant and we didn’t find it to be an issue. The bathrooms were freshly cleaned around 5pm. The water fill is slow but works. The visitor center is really nice and a good place to hang out if you need out of the heat

Basically it's a carpark on a hill, but it felt safe and there's a nice walk you can do from it. There's flushing toilets and a water fountain.

Beautiful view from the lookout and nice facilities. Plenty of space. Sucks you have to pay but probably the best you will get in the area. All the parking spaces are on a slight angle but it’s not too bad.

Dies ist der Parkplatz des Arataki Visitor Centre. Restaurants, Trinkwasser und Bänke sind verfügbar. Es gibt einen schönen Blick auf das Tal. Um 5/6 Uhr kommen viele Arbeiter nach der Arbeit an und waschen sich dort die Hände. Es wird laut ab 7 Uhr morgens, weil die Arbeit beginnt. Eine sehr helle Leuchte ist die ganze Nacht, die in das Auto leuchtet. Es ist in Ordnung, aber nicht 17 NZD wert. Es gibt jedoch nichts Besseres in der Region.

Wir kamen in der Dunkelheit, so dass die schöne Aussicht war eine schöne Überraschung, um aufzuwachen. Toiletten hinter Bildungszentrum geöffnet 24/7 die sauber waren. Tippen Sie auf Wasser vor dem Bildungszentrum. Besucherzentrum einen Besuch wert, bevor Sie gehen. Buchungsprozess war ein Schmerz, Sie brauchen eine NZ-Nummer, um ein Konto zu machen (wir griffen eine Reisende SIM-Karte von Spark am Flughafen Intl)

Really enjoyed staying here! Lovely little walks around in the forest and great visitor centre to visit. Toilets have a little washing sink outside which is ideal if you want to wash your dishes and save your own water.

6/10 for the following reasons -had to pay - it’s really basic, it’s fine and didn’t mind sleeping here (felt safe etc) but it’s literally just a carpark. Nice view though. But felt it’s a lot of money for what it is…. - the parking spots are all slanted and at an angle so didn’t sleep the best But like it’s fine. Nice toilets. Just annoying had to pay as we’ve been to heaps nicer ones for free. Only stay if you have to

Really nice and quiet spot. We were with one other Campervan. Lovely short walks around and amazing views. There are public toilets on the right side of the visitor centre, open all night.
